I was able to stock up on zippers last weekend. While I don't have any specific projects needing them, you can't pass up zippers for 50 cents/each. Thank goodness for thrift stores.
I had actually considered ordering a mens shirt pattern online. I snapped this one up for about 50 cents rather than the $5 or so at McCalls. Anyway, my intention with the pattern is to trace it off, correct the usual anomalies that come with commercial patterns, and have a basic shirt pattern for DH. This will give me an opportunity to test out more of my ideas.
